Our service

Better Fences is a free quote-matching service. We connect homeowners with independent, vetted fencing installers. We do not carry out fencing work ourselves and we are not party to any contract you enter into with an installer.

Quotes and the work

Any quote, price, advice, contract, workmanship and guarantee is provided by and is the responsibility of the independent installer you choose. You should satisfy yourself as to an installer's suitability, insurance and credentials before agreeing to any work. We do not guarantee that you will receive a quote, or the number, timing or content of quotes.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate details and to use the service only for genuine fencing enquiries. Submitting false, abusive or automated requests is not permitted.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship or conduct of any installer, or for any loss arising from work carried out by an installer. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

Cost guides and calculators on this site are indicative estimates only and do not constitute a quote. Always confirm prices with a local installer.
